Last week, we had the opportunity to host a Retail Recruitment Workshop with The Retail Coach, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to gather than the Meridian Texas Public Library. A HUGE thank you to the library for opening your fantastic conference room and helping make the event possible.

We also want to thank everyone who took time out of their day to attend. Your questions, ideas, and interest made for a great discussion.

One of the biggest takeaways is that recruiting businesses to a small town isn't about chasing the latest chain or simply making a few phone calls. It takes understanding the market, building relationships, telling our community's story, and being prepared when opportunities arise. Success doesn't happen overnight, but every conversation, every partnership, and every step forward helps move Meridian in the right direction.

We're grateful to The Retail Coach for sharing their knowledge and giving our community a better understanding of what retail recruitment really looks like behind the scenes.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us. We look forward to continuing these conversations as we work together to create new opportunities while preserving the character that makes Meridian such a special place to call home.

Big things are happening in City of Meridian, Texas !✨

Please join us on **May 20th at 10:00 AM** as we celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Goodall-Witcher Meridian Clinic. This project represents more than a new building, it’s an investment in the future of our community, our families, and the continued growth of Meridian.

The new clinic will expand local healthcare access, create professional opportunities, and strengthen the quality of life for residents throughout Bosque County. Projects like this are a reminder that Meridian continues moving forward with purpose and momentum.

We encourage the community to come out, show support, and help us celebrate this exciting milestone for our city. A ceremonial shovel in the dirt may only last a moment, but the impact of this project will be felt for years to come. 🌱
