This morning was a dream come true. Surrounded by history of the Miss Mississippi Organization and photos of titleholders that came before me, I signed my official contract and connected with a few of the incredible journalists who serve our state.

Thank you Lord for this opportunity to serve the state I love so dearly. Here we go!

Today’s the day!! This year has been nothing short of a blessing. It has been the biggest honor to wear my home state across my chest, and I’m not sure that anything else will ever compare to it! Today a new Miss Mississippis Teen is crowned, and to say I am excited to see her journey is such an understatement. This year hasn’t been just a crown and sash, it’s been filled with long lasting relationships, life lessons, and memories that will surely last a lifetime.

Thank you, Mississippi. Words can not explain how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to travel my home state working alongside some of the most remarkable individuals!

Thank you Lord for your divine plan and timing. There were so many “what if’s” on my way to the stage last year, and looking back, you were in every single piece of my story.

We just just a few hours away from finding out who the next Miss Mississippis Teen will be, and no matter the outcome, we are most proud of these three ladies here.
