Congratulations to Gabrielle Baldwin, this year’s recipient of the MS Alpha Phi Delta Kappa ( Gilmer-Karrh Foundation Scholarship). She is a student at East Central Community College. This young lady is a talented student who is very deserving of our scholarship. I know she will excel and make us proud.

Please pray for Johnny and Pam King for the loss of their son. Services for Johnny Ray King (47 years old and life long LSU friend) will be held on Thursday, September 26th at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 0930- 1115 with burial to follow at 1130.

We will have karaoke at VFW Post 79, 5614 Old Highway 80 West I Meridian this Friday night starting at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcomed. Come support your local veterans while being a musical star. We serve both beer and alcohol. Please let all your friends know.

Please keep Brother Johnny King in your prayers. He has a procedure in the morning and I pray all goes well.
Update: the outpouring of love and prayer has been great. However, I would like to ask all to please give Johnny and Pam their privacy and please limit contact. Thank you so much for your understanding.
