A lasting tribute to honor and recognize past and present men and women of Meridian and East Mississippi who have served in the U. The East Mississippi Veterans Memorial Park will HONOR, EDUCATE and INSPIRE. The East Mississippi Veterans Foundation that supports the East Mississippi Veterans Memorial Park is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) public charity and is incorporated in the State of Mississippi.

The Foundation registers to solicit charitable contributions as required by state laws and regulations.

We have a limited number of Armed Forces Day Freedom 5K T-shirts remaining. Sizes are Large and X-Large. You can have one of these shirts for a donation of $10. Our America 250th Commemorative Challenge Coin is also available for a $10 donation. These coins are 2 inches in diameter and are made of high quality material and would make for a great collectors item. A limited number of "Phantoms Inbound Key" are available. This 18 inch x 24 inch print depicts RF-4C Phantom II 67-0438 and Meridian Air Guard's 50th Anniversary RF-4C Phantom II 66-430 as they start a descent into historical Key Field. This print can be yours for an $100.00 donation. The Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026 at 10:30AM is still scheduled to take place at the East Mississippi Veterans Park. The current weather forecast may cause the ceremony to be moved to the Third Floor at Meridian City Hall. A determination will be made Monday morning based on weather conditions at the time. We will post an update on Monday morning to this page.
