Channel 7 news just reported that in a recent survey programs for youth ranked #3 on the list for areas that need improvement in Meridian.

We see this as a need for our community, and it's great to see others recognize the same need.

We receive the grant, but we did get mentioned in the Meridian Press's article about the grant.

Every year, Meridian distributes grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to organizations that provide housing and expand economic opportunities for low-income individuals. This program is called the Community Development Block Grant Program.

Yung Urban Cultural Center is in the process of opening a facility in downtown Meridian that would be able to meet the needs of our teen community. There is currently approximately 150 homeless teens in the downtown area alone.
Please consider donating during Idaho Gives on May 1st to help support this non-profit that will greatly impact the lives of Meridian's teens by using urban culture as the catalyst.
