In just a few more days❗️This Saturday❗️Come on out to our JSU Meridian Alumni Chapter Cookout!

💙 We will have a membership drive for any JSU alumni to become a part of our local chapter as well as network with other JSU chapters in the surrounding counties to collaborate on future events.

🤍 We will also celebrate our JSU scholarship recipients and send those students off with gift baskets as they prepare to attend JSU Fall 2026.

Let's have a great time and enjoy great food!

📣Calling all Meridian JSU Alumni Members! Our chapter will be sending off 5 students to Jackson State University this Fall and is asking for items (toiletries, snacks, and other things that a college student would need) to be brought to the Annual Cookout on Saturday, July 25th at the Velma Young Community Center. The baskets have already been provided. For more information, you may contact Ms. Lorene Portis or any chapter member.
