Hi, TOPSoccer Family! 💙

We have GREAT news! We WILL be playing this Sunday, October 18th, for our make-up day! 🎉

And the weather looks like it's going to be perfect for soccer! 😎☀️ The forecast is calling for a beautiful weekend with a high of 72°F!

🏆 This will also be our TOPSoccer FINALE! We'll wrap up our season with a special awards ceremony and celebration immediately following the games! We can't wait to recognize our amazing athletes and celebrate another wonderful season together!

We're so excited to have our athletes, buddies, volunteers, and families back on the field for one final afternoon of fun, friendship, and soccer!

💙🧡 What a JOY to be part of **Disability Friendly Day at the Mississippi State Fair**, hosted by Joni and Friends!

This is such a wonderful event that brings together individuals with disabilities, families, schools, buddies, and community organizations for a day of FUN, fellowship, and connection!

From interactive games at every booth and a wealth of knowledge and resources shared by vendors to a sensory tent offering a quiet place to take a break, this event truly has something for everyone!

We loved seeing so many smiling faces, making new connections, and celebrating a community where everyone belongs!

⚽🌧️ TOPSoccer WEATHER UPDATE!

Hi, SPOT Family! 💙

We hope everyone is staying safe and dry this weekend! Unfortunately, the soccer fields won't be staying dry and will not be available for TOPSoccer this Sunday, October 11th.

We had hoped to secure an indoor location so we could still play, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to make those arrangements. We wanted to give our families and volunteers as much notice as possible.

⚽ The good news is that we're planning a MAKE-UP DAY! We're working through the details and hope to share a new date and location in the next few days.

Families and volunteers, please help us spread the word! There will be no TOPSoccer this Sunday. Keep an eye on our page for updates!

Thank you for your patience and flexibility. We love our TOPSoccer family and look forward to getting everyone back together soon!

From sports and dance to prayer, carnival games, and holiday celebrations, we’re excited for a season of connection, friendship, and fun for individuals of all ages and abilities and their families!

The SPOT is proud to partner with the City of Meridian-Government again to help make this beloved community event welcoming for friends of all ages and abilities!

Last year’s adaptations were a huge success, giving more individuals and families the opportunity to enjoy the Halloween fun at their own pace. We’re excited to bring Sensory Street back this year!

Located behind City Hall, Sensory Street offers a calmer, welcoming space to celebrate. The SPOT will also have a portable sensory tent for anyone needing a break, along with a companion care tent on the Sensory Street side.

🎟️ Start at The SPOT table at the Sensory Street entrance to get your armband! Your armband provides entrance to Sensory Street and helps you access games and rides on the traditional Candy Crawl side with shorter waits.

Guests can visit both sides, move between them as they feel comfortable, and enjoy the fun at their own pace. Friends of all ages are invited, and families are welcome!

Come enjoy carnival rides, treats, food vendors, music, and more!

East Mississippi Gives is our community’s annual day of giving through the Community Foundation of East Mississippi — and this year it’s happening alongside a full evening of events throughout Downtown Meridian!

Come downtown, enjoy the Market, Third Thursday, Canvases for Cancer and more — and stop by The SPOT’s booth while you’re there!

💜 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 | Lean On Me Jubilee
Then we’ll be back downtown Saturday for Lean On Me Jubilee, a family-friendly festival bringing awareness to mental health and su***de prevention while raising funds that stay right here in Mississippi.

The SPOT is proud to be a partner and two-time grant recipient of Lean On Me Jubilee. Their generosity has directly supported programs for our families, including our Sensory Christmas Festival and adaptive sports.

📣And we’re especially excited that the first hour of Lean On Me Jubilee will be Sensory Friendly! 💜🩵 We’ll have a SPOT booth there too, so come find us!

We are incredibly grateful to be affiliated with the Community Foundation of East Mississippi and to see so many organizations, businesses and people come together to invest in our community.
