Good afternoon!

My name is Randy Griffeth, and I serve as a Team Ambassador for the Meridian Blues Baseball Club.

I’m helping coordinate Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday, June 3, at Meridian Stadium, and we’d love to have your organization participate.

We’re inviting local veteran service organizations, military support groups, and community partners to set up informational booths and engage with veterans, active-duty military members, military families, and members of our community. There is no cost to participate.

The evening will feature military and veteran recognitions, military family spotlights, service branch roll calls, patriotic tributes, and other activities celebrating those who have served and continue to serve our nation.

I believe your organization would be a great addition to the event, and we’d be honored to have you join us. If you’re interested, please send me a message, and I’ll be happy to provide additional details.

Thank you for all you do to support our veterans and military community. I hope you’ll consider being part of this special evening.

Running our small poker group get together tonight starting at 1800 so Post will be open to all members and guests.

Really nice work last night. Thank you to the 21 members & 4 Auxiliary members who showed up to support. That was the largest group of Staff that we’ve ever fielded and because of each of your contributions, the night went very smoothly with no snags.
We had 204 guests throughout the night, a new record for us.
Andi, Lorie & Lori could not have planned the buffet any better. Great spread that was almost entirely consumed. We consolidated one pan of a few side dishes which Lonnie will break out tonight for the card playing group at the Post.
Great work on the gate, at the door, and on the floor/behind the bar.
We wrapped things up a little after 0300. We’ll get a deep cleaning knocked out in the next day or two, but we finished the big picture stuff before securing.

Have you been to your VFW lately? Post 12124 in Meridian MS is holding an All Staff meeting Friday, 29 May at 1800. Following that, at 1900, we are welcoming the friends & family of the next 10 Naval and Marine Corps future combat vets for a reception. Grilled food, DJ… it’s all happening.
Come out and support us, so we can support them.

Good morning everyone.
Tess is picking up the meat & supplies today.
Stranger has the inventory & restock covered. Larry & Doug are keeping us squared away with maintenance.
I’ll meet Andi at the Post at 1600 on Thursday for the standard cleaning, mopping, & set-up. Stop by if able to assist. Shouldn’t take too long.

Friday—1800 House & Staff meeting for all Members, Aux, and trusted volunteers who work, or would like to work, our events. 1900 kick-off for the Winging.
Remember, park in the Wesley House lot unless you are a closer Friday night. (or disabled). Pirate & Lammy will honcho that show.
We’ll decide on which door we are using according to the WX.
Let’s not touch the buffet until our guests have all had an opportunity to eat so that we don’t have a repeat of Sundays situation where we ran out of the primary side dish too early.
If you do choose to partake in the buffet, drop $10 in the jug at the bar to help with their tab.
Read over the info about the Post to be armed with info we pushed Monday night to help be a good ambassador. Introduce yourself to the families. Welcome them to our Post. Because of them, we are surviving & thriving.
If you find yourself with some free time, help in keeping the empty bottles picked up, trash under control, and heads tidy. It’s a continuous process throughout the night.

Keep up the good work Team 12124. It’s great to see several new faces chipping in to help our mission.
See you all Friday night, if not before.

They were flooded a couple of weeks ago. Members of our Post. please help spread the word through your organizations,
