Join us this week as our kids will discover why we truly celebrate Easter. Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have access to a restored relationship with God and eternal life. When Jesus died on the Cross, He took our sin onto himself. Because Jesus rose again, He paid the penalty for sin—death. When we follow Him, we not only experience a better life here on earth, but also eternal life with Him. The life Jesus offers is better than anything we can imagine. It’s incredible!

Today we start our new series "The Way Maker" Jesus asked His closest followers who people thought He was (Matthew 16:13). The disciples responded with far-ranging opinions. But then Jesus turned the question on them: “Who do you say I am?” Two thousand years later, there may not be a more important question for any of us to answer.
During this series we will be answering that question. Our kiddos will learn who Jesus is and what he did for them.

Today in JAG Kids we are reviewing and remembering all the things we’ve talked about this month, your kids will be encouraged to think about the true joy that comes from knowing Jesus and celebrating Him. Many families use stockings to decorate at Christmastime. Kids love to find small trinkets and candy inside the stockings. However, stockings look a little like a giant J and can remind us of joy. Kids will discover how, this season, we can remember that the joy of Christmas is only found in Jesus.

Bring your kids to join us each Sunday at JAG Kids! This month as we prepare for Christmas, things begin to look a little different. We see Christmas trees, lights strung around homes and stores, and big inflatables. These things are fun and exciting, but as we “Deck the Halls,” it’s important to remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas! Many things we decorate with can point us back to the Christmas story and be good reminders about the One we are celebrating.

Each week this month, we’ll talk about a different Christmas decoration and discover how each one can remind us of Scripture as we see them during the holidays. Each week, your stage design can grow as the piece being talked about is placed on the stage, adding to the ones before.

This week we are beginning our new series Deck The Halls!! The Christmas Tree—The need for Christmas started with a tree back in Genesis. When sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, it involved a tree and God’s promise of a Savior.

Jesus came as a baby and grew up to show us what love is. He was hung on another tree, a cross, when He died for us. Thankfully, He rose again so that our relationship with God could be restored.

In this session, our kids will discover that Jesus came with purpose, he knew what He was going to do, and He did it all because of His great love for us!

Today in JAG Kids we talked about that God has proven to people that He is the one true God. As Christians, we believe in and serve God who reveals himself in three Persons—God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The world will provide many false alternatives, but we must place our trust only in the one true God.

Starting tonight at Family Night we will begin our series Outdoor Adventure. Tonight our kids will be learning some basics of knots and ropes, and how they are very useful to us.
We will also be studying how Jesus healed the paralyzed man after his friends helped him get to Jesus. We look forward to seeing you and your kiddo at tonights family night!!
