The Promiseland Chrysalis Community is asking for feedback from the local Emmaus/Chrysalis Communities. The Promiseland committee has recently cancelled five flights, including three in 2012. We have experienced shortages both in filling the teams and in registering candidates.

We are asking for Community help, so, please show your support by volunteering to serve on teams, sponsoring caterpillars, or generally sustaining Promiseland Chrysalis through your prayers, presence, and service. Your response (or lack thereof) will help us know how to proceed. Thank you for past support.

A Promiseland Chrysalis Committee meeting will be held Tuesday, November 20 at 6:30 PM at Knollwood Village (2nd floor) in Jacksonville. All committee members are asked to please attend. Community members are welcome.

Please note that the girl's flight for this weekend has been CANCELLED.
Our thanks to the team for all your hard work and sacrifice! God has been using it all for HIs glory thus far and will continue to do so even though it may not be in the way we were expecting.
Please be in prayer for our board members as they will be meeting soon to make some important decisions about upcoming flights.

We still need candidates in order for the girl's flight to happen next weekend (Nov 16th-18th.) We MUST have at least 12 signed up by tomorrow (girls only.) Please don't be afraid to ask. The worst that can happen is that she says no, and the best is that she has an amazing God filled weekend that she will remember the rest of her life.

The prep weekend for Chrysalis Flight 50 has been going on this weekend. Continue to raise them up in prayer and join us for the Anointing Service this afternoon at 4pm at Green Pastures Campground outside of Meredosia.

Please join Great River Walk to Emmaus at an important meeting on Saturday, August 25th, at Vermont Street United Methodist Church (8th and Vermont, Quincy) beginning at 8:30 a.m. It is very important to the future of the Community that there is a large showing of support.
