Jake’s Garage is a program created by First Congregational Church of Meredith. Our purpose is to assist hard-working and deserving people with funds to repair cars to get to work, medical appointments, and/or school.

Each year we raise funds to pay reputable mechanics in the area to repair the cars of deserving people in our community.

Jake Ambrose passed away in February 2022 at the young age of 50. Jake was nothing short of amazing. He was the type of guy that would give his last dollar to help someone just to put a smile on their face. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. Jake loved his 1977 sportster. Motorcycles were his passion, and he enjoyed riding more than anything.

You would find Jake on any given day tinkering up in his barn, working on his bike or car (an everyone else’s!).
