Wicwas Lake Grange #292 The Grange has always been the strongest organization that works towards the citizens of this country to obtain and sustain a good life.

The Grange has lobbied through local, state and federal government agencies for issues that affect communities and the public. Non-Partisan political Grangers create laws known as Granger Laws that are important to anti-trust litigations. They are credited for establishing the Rural Free Delivery program for the USPS. As education is of importance to Grangers they created libraries to store and sh

are books; many of which are now public libraries in communities. The Grange encourages everyone to enjoy good in their labor, help the needy, protect children and animals, and care for the sick and elderly. Although the Grange is a non-partisan, non-sectarian organization, we are involved in promoting legislation, which will enhance the lives of those who live in our communities. Believing that when we band together we can make a better world, we support stewardship of the earth, good schools and a better and more wholesome living for all of us. The Grange is America’s Family Fraternity. To anyone who is interested in education, legislation, social welfare, recreation and having meaning and purpose in life, we welcome you to the Grange. In August of 2010, the Wicwas Lake Grange was in danger of closing down due to a lack of memberships. A meeting was held and the local Community banded together and revitalized this historical organization that makes an important part of the Meredith Center community. Since the revitalization, the Grange has brought in 50 new members, delivered new dictionaries to 3rd grade students in local schools, held Christmas and Halloween parties for the children and Barn dances for the public.

2025 Wicwas Lake Grange day is just about wrapped up for another year. Claire Lebel won granger of the year and Deena Hupper won 1st place for the cheesecake contest and Don Lebel won 2nd place for the cheesecake contest. Come on down. We will be here until 3:00.

Saturday December 14, 2024 from 2 to 5 pm at the Wicwas Lake Grange Hall will be the Children's Christmas Party and Cookie Walk.
