The Meredith Dairy Fest has been canceled this weekend.. this was a very hard decision for us to make, but the field is not safe for cars due to the flooding conditions 😢

We are hoping the field dries out enough for tomorrow’s events to continue !!

Co****le tournament has been postponed to tomorrow! But the vintage baseball game is still a go!! we look forward to seeing everyone today!!  bring your rain boots and come out for some Dairy fun under the big tents!!

Ushering in Dairy Month, the Meredith Dairy Fest is hosted each June and offers two days of live music, farm animals, vendors, historical demonstrations and displays, a lot of farm related vendors as well as great food and drink, including local beer.

Mid-York Concert Band Announces $1,000 Scholarship

Norwich, NY - The Mid-York Concert Band is excited to announce its Second Annual Scholarship. The award will recognize a high school band student who has achieved outstanding musical success as demonstrated by musicianship, dedication, and leadership.

This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who:

• Actively participates in band

• Attends school is Chenango, Delaware, Madison or Otsego Counties

• Plans to remain active in instrumental music after graduation

Student applications and pre-recorded audition submissions are due by Monday, April 7, 2025. The scholarship winner will receive their scholarship and perform a portion of their solo at the MYCB Spring Concert on May 18, 2025, at 2 pm at the Norwich HS auditorium.

High school seniors in Chenango, Delaware, Madison and Otsego Counties should ask their band director for the application details.

The Mid-York Concert Band is celebrating its 41st year and is comprised of people from all walks of life who enjoy playing concert band music. The MYCB rehearses in the fall, winter and spring and holds two annual performances that are free to the public. The next performance is Sunday, May 18th at 2:00 pm in the Norwich High School Auditorium.
