Future lifesavers in the making! ❤️🩺

Black Nurses Rock South Jersey showed kids that real-life superpowers come from knowledge and confidence. From hands-only CPR and using an EpiPen, to checking blood pressure, spotting the signs of stroke, reading medicine labels, and learning how Narcan can save a life, these young leaders got hands-on with skills that truly matter.

Because teaching our youth how to respond in an emergency doesn’t just build awareness… it builds stronger, safer communities. 💪🏾✨ YouthEmpowerment BlackNursesRock

BNR “Why I Rock”✨

Kim is a BNR member & Clinical Practice Lead on the Stroke unit at PPMC with 16 years nursing experience. She specializes in Neuro Critical care and Neuro Trauma populations🧠. She also believes in preparing the next generation of nurses through mentorship and education, serving as Clinical Adjunct for multiple nursing programs.

Governor Sherrill signed an amendment into law yesterday, allowing certain New Jersey nurse practitioners to practice independently! This is a significant step forward both for the profession but also for New Jersey patients having greater access to care.
