Merchantville School PTA

Congratulations to the MES Class of 2026! We wanted to add a huge shoutout to some of the moms who who will be leaving with their grads and were a major contributing force, through the years, on the PTA! Thank you for your dedication!

The PTA would love to thank Carrie Nesbitt Brown for her decade and beyond service with the Merchantville Elementary School PTA! While she may be moving on to bigger and better things, with two high schoolers next year, her presence will be fondly remembered and missed! If the PTA were to choose superlatives she may have been voted “Most likely to be relied upon” or “The PTA/Room Mom Anchor” because she was so reliable and never let a ball drop! For many years she served as our Membership Liaison and made sure kids and teachers, alike, had books in their hands by running the Scholastic Book Fair. She was an amazing room mom who ran so many classroom parties, helped at field days, and gave so many class gifts! She could always be found helping at our PTA events and dances and it will be tough shoes to fill! We wish you nothing but the best and thank you for all of your commitment! While you may be yelling “Go Garnets!” a little more don’t ever forget “Once a Knight, Always a Knight!” Thank you, Carrie!
