We live in an age when we are literally pummeled with information from everywhere--which is fantastic for knowing what is happening in the world--AND--not so fantastic. The constant barrage of news can be daunting, overwhelming. The key is to remember you can turn it off, at least for a little bit each day, and take a breath. All that stuff--it will still happen and you can find out about it later, if you choose to. But invest in your well being a little--remove that news clutter, breathe a little easier today.

Stop. 🛑 Wait. 🚌 Nothing is that important.

🚌 SCHOOL IS BACK — PLEASE DRIVE WITH CARE! 🎒

One of our favorite things about this time of year is seeing everyone’s first-day-back photos! We absolutely adore seeing those smiling faces, new backpacks, and first-day excitement. 💚 We hope every student, teacher, and family in our community has an incredible, safe, and successful school year!

As our kids head back to school, please take a few extra seconds to slow down and stay alert. Watch carefully at crosswalks, bus stops, intersections, neighborhoods, and anywhere a child may potentially cross the roadway.

And please remember: unless a roadway is PHYSICALLY DIVIDED, traffic in BOTH directions must stop for a school bus and remain stopped until the bus’s red flashing lights are off and the stop arm is retracted.

A few extra seconds of patience can protect a child and an entire family. ❤️
