A New Arch Rises in Downtown Merced

Something special just took shape at Bob Hart Square! Today, the City of Merced installed the brand-new arch that will welcome residents and visitors into the heart of our downtown.

This new landmark celebrates Merced’s history, community pride, and the vibrant future of Bob Hart Square as a gathering place for events, celebrations, and everyday moments.

We appreciate the community’s ongoing interest, support, and patience. We have a few finishing touches to go, stay tuned!

Whether you're heading to a concert, meeting friends, or just strolling downtown, keep an eye out for the new arch and snap a photo beneath it!
