Lynett has always had it in her soul to help, so she pursued her BA and MA in social work to do just that. Lynett is currently working on getting her law degree to continue her advocacy work in child warfare.

I was a troubled youth. Very much so. I think I had been around and in sooooo many bad foster homes/group homes I lost so very much hope by the time I got to rainbow valley.
I can say this, I’m pretty sure there’s lots of new staff working at rainbow valley, but this place saved my life growing up. If it weren’t for the staff that played a HUGE part of my change I wouldn’t of come out of it alive, shoot I wouldn’t be the person I am now. A mother of 2 kids, married, with a baby on the way.
I know I put most of these staff through hell growing up lol.... but it was truly the TOUGH ones that played a huge part in saving this girls life.
Serina, Shgun, Bernie, Angela, Kylee, Joe
And that’s just naming a few. I’m so thankful for the fight you guys put into me. Into creating the person I am now. Some of these people I don’t talk to anymore, or I talk to once in a while, or all the time. But they will hold a very special part of my heart. Rainbow valley and the staff that worked there when I lived there saved my life. And more then one actually SAVED my life. I write this with a full heart. Don’t give up on what you guys do here. STAY STRICT, the strict ones were the ones that made a difference in this girls heart. And I love you all for it
