The Ohio Health Project is looking for participants for our Sharing-Support Circles program. Through our work with communities and faith groups, we discovered that many people are exhausted from trying to cope with impacts on their lives from the shale development industry. People in these affected regions face challenges that the fracking industry has brought to their communities and their lives. They often experience a sense of powerlessness. Sharing-Support Circles will allow people to tell and process their stories in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Each Sharing-Support Circle will be composed of about four to eight people. The group will be led by a facilitator. Group members will meet by Zoom for their sessions. Each group will set its own meeting times and ground rules. Participants will take turns sharing their situation and experience since shale development came to their area. If this sounds like something you or someone you know would be interested in, feel free to direct message us or fill out the contact form on our website:
