Brandons Gift Our Story
Brandon Anthony Shima would have been the perfect candidate for any scholarship. Scholarships are often awarded for excellence both in and out of the classroom. He was a gifted student. He excelled in math, computers, and science. He had dreams and set goals to aspire: a bachelor’s… a master’s… maybe even higher. Sadly, we will never know. Those chapters of Brandon’s life were never written.
However, in sixteen short lived years, Brandon rewrote the book on caring, sharing, and giving. These are the chapters that matter the most to the volumes of people he touched. He was known for it and he went out of his way to do it.
Established in 2013 BGF is proudly celebrating over 6 years of providing scholarships to purpose-driven individuals who might not be afforded access to secondary education. With school costs continuing to rise and educational funds shrinking the Brandon's Gift Foundation holds a unique niche in funding. Every bit helps in making the difference.
