The Women’s Leadership Council of United Way of Lake County works to positively impact the lives of women through the philanthropic efforts of giving, advocating, and volunteering. Our purpose begins by helping women of all ages and backgrounds, from young girls through adulthood and into senior stages of life. It is our desire to engage and empower women in this community to work togethe
r and make Lake County stronger. It is our goal to create a network of women who can offer their time, experiences and resources to improve the lives and opportunities for women in this community. It is our obligation to give back to other women; helping raise them up to achieve their goals. Vision

This women’s leadership council looks to support programs and agencies that assist women and demonstrate or instill these four pillars of self-esteem. In supporting those causes, we also strive to build our group on this foundation; improving our own lives so that we may work as effective ambassadors for women in the personal and professional world.
