Cardinal Pardnts Club is once again on the hunt for that special someone(s) to help take over concessions or at a minimum to help with the fall season.

Fall support would entail:
-being available to oversee 1/2 of all fall events which includes weekday and weekends. The season starts mid August through beginning of November.

While at an event:
-opening concessions
-prep/setting up processes
-providing general training to volunteers if needed
-being available if needed during the event
-cleanup/closing processes

Full transparency-this is mostly volunteer with a small stipend.

It takes a village of parent/athlete volunteers to help with concessions. Unfortunately, there are instances when those don’t come through so we tap into friends and family.

So today, Instead of not opening for JV and Freshman football, we tapped into some awesome friend to assist us. A very heartfelt thank you goes to Diane Popelas, Helen, Ryan and Evan Mlakar and Alexis and Hadley Jamison!

The 2025-2026 MHS athletic season is upon us and with it comes our 5th year of running concessions.

We started with a great foundation provided to us by our predecessor, Judy Freeman and have continued to build and try new things to provide for more variety. In addition, MHS provided 2 new concession stands over the last couple of years to help service our customers!

We have enjoyed our time running concessions, working with the MHS facilities, and maintenance teams as well as athletics and all of the amazing volunteers, however we are looking to ride into the sunset and turn this well-oiled machine over to the next person(s).

Oh what a night!!!!!

MHS Jerome T. Osborne Stadium was rocking with Homecoming court, an awesome game / win against Cleveland Heights, always a great halftime show and the spectacular announcing and party music which entertained us throughout by Shawn Ambrus and team.

We are most appreciative of all our wonderful volunteers! Our success in servicing our customers can’t be accomplished without all of you!

Always a special shout out to Diane Popelas, Shawn Sabin, Ray, my son -Gavin and my husband Vince!

While our MHS 🏈 team was away Friday, we moved 328 cases of pop, water and Gatorade in anticipation of the this week’s events!
