To provide young athletes an opportunity to play football and cheer in a good moral and ethical environment under the supervision of certified coaches with an emphasis on scholastics and physical fitness throughout our geographical area. MCYFA uses the same terminology, formations, and cheers of the varsity programs to ensure our players' success from youth to middle school through high school. If a youth football player started when they are 6 years old and continue to play through their senior year of high school, they would have worked within the same offense, skills, drills, terminology, and overall philosophy for nearly 12 years. We are in the Great Lakes Youth Football League (www.glyfl.com). We only compete with teams within GLYFL. We are a "weight limit" and "age" controlled league providing a safe experience for our players. C Division - 6 and 7 years old on June 1, 2024 - 90 lb maximum weight to carry the ball
