It is with a very heavy heart to share with our Young Marines family that Bill Sickles, the founder and unit commander of the Greater Lake County Young Marines, passed away unexpected over the weekend. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.

Details for his celebration of life service will be posted in the next few days.

May 2024: The Greater Lake County Young Marines visited the Fairport Harbor Coast Guard Open House. Thank you to all the Coast Guard service members for everything you do!

Did you know that 2024 is the 20th anniversary of our unit? In celebration, we will have an open house on July 13 from 1 - 5p.

Location: Gunny’s Hall, 8720 Twinbrook Drive, Mentor, Ohio.

There will be a 50/50 raffle. Drawing will be held at 4 pm.
