Last week, alongside Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/ Deepwood, we had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible volunteers at the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and dedication they share throughout the year. Their commitment helps make a difference in the lives of so many individuals and families in our community.

We were also honored to recognize the recipients of the Andrea Poklar-Byrne Service Award, SuAnne Gubanyar, Sonja Maier and Jill Gibson. Their outstanding dedication, compassion, and service exemplify the spirit of volunteerism and make a lasting impact on our community.

Thank you to all of our volunteers for everything you do, we appreciate you!

We are so grateful to the Western Reserve Junior Service League for their generous grant to the Deepwood Foundation to help individuals attend summer camp this year.

Summer camp provides opportunities for friendship, independence, new experiences, and memories that last a lifetime. Thanks to the Service League's support, more individuals will have the chance to enjoy all the fun, growth, and connection that camp offers.

🚲 Happy World Bicycle Day! 🚲

Today, we want to give a special shout-out to one of our favorite bike riders, Wesley!

Wesley loves spending time on his bicycle, and seeing the joy it brings him is truly inspiring. Thanks to a grant from Deepwood Foundation, Wesley was able to receive a bike of his own to enjoy at home. We're grateful to help provide opportunities that support independence, recreation, and fun for the individuals we serve.
