Have you ever wondered what Lake County Jail Ministry is all about?

We asked some of our volunteers and some of the incredible people we serve to answer a few questions about who we are, what we do, and why this ministry matters.

Our heart has always been simple: to love people where they are, point them to Jesus, and remind them that no one is beyond hope.

If you’re looking for community, encouragement, or a place to grow, we’d love to have you join us at our Connections Meeting, held on the 2nd Friday of every month at Freedom Assembly of God in Mentor.

No matter your story, there’s a seat for you.

There are people sitting in jail cells, treatment centers, courtrooms, and even in their own homes right now feeling completely hopeless.

That’s why Lake County Jail Ministry exists. ❤️

We believe no one is too far gone for God’s grace. Through jail visitation, recovery meetings, prayer, encouragement, and simply showing up for people, we’ve watched lives change.

If you believe in restoration, second chances, and loving people where they are, follow along. Better yet, come be part of it.

Hope is alive. 🙌

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than cookouts and a long weekend… it’s a reminder of sacrifice, courage, and the cost of freedom.

May we never take for granted the freedoms we’ve been blessed with.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13
