Follow-Up Friday 🎉
Kenzie was adopted on 9/10/2024 after 3 weeks at the shelter. Here's what her owner had to say!
“Kenzie, now known as Loki is settling in well. We are not completely set on the name Loki, but she is very much the cause of mayhem and chaos. She will be super sweet once she calms down a bit.
Our cat introduced himself (I was hoping he would) and very much like Zoey did, Loki tried to chase him because he ran away. Once he stopped they were ok and he did rub his face on Loki before she got too excited and our cat had enough. He batted at her face with no claws. I think they will get along well eventually. Our cat isn't used to having a high energy dog around.
We found out that Loki likes to play fetch! We've been trying different ways to let her get the exercise she needs to get her worn out. It takes a lot! She also likes to go for walks and she met one of the neighbor's dogs and they got along well. He didn't know what to make of her at first because she is such a ball of energy and he is a super mellow and laid back dog.
Loki has searched through Zoey's two toy boxes and destroyed a few toys. That is to be expected and Loki and Zoey share pretty well.
Loki likes car rides and likes to stick her head out the window and watch everything. She likes to watch people and is very curious as everything is new to her. Zoey is kind of the opposite. Shy and sort of timid with new people. It's interesting to see the differences between the two.
Benn's son takes her for walks too, and yesterday he took her to the park in Eau Claire. Loki came back worn out (for once lol) and Zoey was happy to have a day to herself. I think Zoey still misses her big brother who recently passed, but Loki is keeping her busy and they have a lot of fun running and playing in the yard together.
Thank you so much for everything you do!”
