August is the perfect time to work on your 4-H record books. Although record books are not required, they are a great way to document your 4-H experience, and practice skills like creating a resume and cover letter. They also make you eligible for club and county awards.
Each club will have its own due date for youth to submit their record books. After they are judged at the club level, club leaders can submit record books for county awards.
Record books are due to the county for county awards on Monday, September 21
