📚✨ What a wonderful afternoon celebrating literature, history, the arts, and community!
Presbyterian Homes was proud to sponsor the 14th Annual Literary Luncheon at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts. The event brought guests together for a beautiful afternoon featuring a marketplace of local vendors, dining on the Harris Theater stage, and a special performance by acclaimed historian and actress Leslie Goddard portraying Abigail Adams in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Proceeds from this wonderful tradition support the Wilson Center’s arts education programs. 
Anne Chard was delighted to represent Dickson Hollow, while Dena Kugel represented Kirkland Crossings.
We were so happy to sponsor such a meaningful community event and especially grateful for the opportunity to connect with attendees and share more about our Presbyterian Homes communities. 💙

🚗 💚 Active Aging Week 2026: Full Speed Ahead to Wellness 💚 🚗

What a great week of learning, laughter, relaxation, and wellness! 🌟 Our residents embraced this years theme with a variety of engaging experiences designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit.

🚕 We put our knowledge to the test with a fun Cash Cab Trivia Game Show!

🧠 We exercised our minds with a car-themed Brainy Bunch class

🍫 We satisfied our sweet tooth (and nourished our bodies) while learning at “Let’s Talk Chocolate” with Trainer Katherine, complete with delicious chocolate samples

🧘 We slowed down and recharged with a beautiful, immersive sound bath experience led by practitioners Bernard and David

💚 Throughout the week, positive affirmations filled our Town Center, reminding us to embrace positivity, celebrate ourselves, and keep moving forward on our wellness journeys - no matter our age!

Yesterday, we celebrated Oktoberfest with good friends, great food, and plenty of festive fun! Our residents enjoyed delicious pretzels, refreshing b**r, and a mouthwatering pig roast buffet from Bunzel's Meats and Catering 🥨🍺🐷

Liberty Dreams exist to inspire residents to continue to dream of the things they are the most passionate about. The Liberty Dreams program by PHS is the tool to help PHS respond to those dreams 💕

For Dickson Hollow resident, Steve, it was a Cubs game 🐻 💙 Staff and family were able to coordinate tickets, transportation, and an unforgettable evening at American Family Field for Steve, his wife, Lois, and their Grandson and Granddaughter in-law ⚾️ This is what dreams are made of!
