Yesterday, a father walked through the doors of Life’s Connection carrying his precious 12-week-old baby.

His wife had miscarried the night before.

He carried this tiny child so carefully and then he entrusted this precious little baby to us.

There are moments in this ministry that stop you in your tracks.
This was one of them.

This wasn’t simply “pregnancy tissue.”
This wasn’t simply a miscarriage that happened the night before.
This is their baby. A precious little one that at 12 weeks, looked like a little tiny baby, with fingers, toes and only needed time to grow bigger.

Baby Gerard mattered.
Baby Gianna mattered.
Because the precious 12-week-old baby who came through our doors yesterday matters.

And because every baby who comes into our care matters.
But we cannot do this alone.

The need for Hearts of Hope continues to grow, and the financial cost of providing this level of care is significant.

Every soul has a mission.
Every life has value.
Every baby deserves to be loved and remembered.

Yesterday, one very tiny baby reminded us of that again.
We don’t yet know all the ways this precious little life will touch others.

But we know this:
This baby was here.
This baby was loved.
This baby’s life mattered.
And we are incredibly honored that Mom and Dad trusted us to be part of this little one’s story.

We Laid Baby Gianna to Rest

Gianna came into this world under difficult and unexpected circumstances. But those circumstances do not define her story.

Love does.

As she was laid to rest, she was surrounded by people who came to honor her, pray for her, and bear witness to a simple but profound truth:

Gianna’s life mattered.

She did not have years with us. There will be no first steps, birthday parties, Christmas mornings, school pictures, or bedtime stories.

But there was enough time to love her.
And we do. She now rests next to her Brother In Christ, Gerard Peter who we laid to rest May 15, 2026.

Please help us by continuing to pray for Gianna.

Her life was not insignificant.

She was our daughter.
She was a sister.
She was a child of God.
She was loved.

And she will always be remembered.

Please continue to keep Gianna and all families grieving the loss of a baby in your prayers.
