Miles For Hope Miles For Hope is a 5k run/walk to raise awareness to Brain Cancer. This event is in honor of my dad, Pat Bennett, who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

February 7th 2014 was the day he was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma tumor located on the right frontal lobe of his brain. February 10th he had surgery to remove the tumor followed by chemotherapy and radiation, followed up with an oral chemo to find in December a progression of cancer cells growth. January 2015 started

a different journey of IV treatments until March 2015 yet another progression!! He continues to keep his boxing gloves on and FIGHT! March started another Oral chemo & IV treatment, praying for effective results. He clings on to his faith, family and friends to keep him going, He is on the board of our church (pilgrim Lutheran) and the Lighthouse Youth Center. His love for his Savior is the reason for his strength through this journey. Please join us in the fight to find a cure by attending the 1st Annual "Miles for Hope" 5K run/walk
