Yesterday, my bill - Assembly Bill 492, which creates a licensure and board for music therapists - was passed out of the Assembly Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention. I am thrilled that this legislation has taken the next step in getting to the floor for a vote.

Then, I testified on behalf of another one of my bills, Assembly Bill 668, which would allow psychiatric nurses to assess treatment competency.
