Death is a fact of life and today we mourn with our director David as he was with his family in his home village. It is a long way away from where he lives but honoring his uncle was and is the last respect he could give him.
Funerals in Tanzania are surrounded by community. Everyone chips in to help! Some put in their few coins - some cook - some help dig the burial plot - and others just offer their shoulders. Life stops for everyone to honor the life that has now gone on to be in their eternal home.
May David’s uncle now rest in peace ✝️🙏🏿❤️🙏🏻

I alone cannot change the world but I can cast one stone and create a ripple in the water❤️

Teddy (Sophia) was embraced with love from the MBG team yesterday and she was so happy to receive the basic necessities to help her each day.

One simple word “yes” and your ripple will change the world too.

How do we do our work? Our team drove 6 hours to get to the l***r community - we brought prayers, food and chickens to share.
This community was hungry and lonely. There have been no signatures in the guest book since our visit in January.
We did our best to provide what we could and promised that our voices would share their story.
We give thanks to our sweet donors - for your generosity and prayers- we are truly “helping people and changing lives”

Our work would not be successful without the leaders we work with in Tanzania.
My complete gratitude for Sabrina (I have known her since she was a very young girl) she is the epitome of everyone’s best friend. She is kind, caring and goes out of her way to bring hope to everyone she meets! She works hard each day with her family business and most recently began courses in learning 2d and 3D interior design. She continues to be the heartbeat behind our work.
David is our fearless leader - honestly he is the calm on our team. His soul is old and has wisdom beyond his years. He runs like crazy for his people and never stops until a job is completed. His family offers him grace and his leadership is amazing.
Today I want to lift up “my other family” across the pond.
We pray for them to always know how much they are loved.
May God Bless David and Sabrina🙏🏿✝️🙏🏻❤️

Grateful, thankful and blessed!! Happiness has been sponsored! She has been through so much in the first 5 years of her life from being unable to walk until she was 3 due to a birth defect in her leg. She had a partial amputation done 2 years ago! She received her first prosthetic and therapy and in June will be heading to school for the first time in her life! She will live at school and is taking her brand new mattress and blanket with her!
We delight in her loving sponsor who also paid for Happinesses tuition and school uniforms and textbooks!
Hope and love live on….💕💕💕💕💕💕

7 days a week we mission for the least last and lost. Rain or shine, fog or mud - we go - we pray with them and they know us by our love❤️

This is what missioning looks like for MBG on a Saturday morning - hunger continues so we run far and deep and wide to provide to the ones we hear need help.
✔️80 # of corn delivered to a single Dad raising his 3 children
✔️two widows and their children receive life saving staples
✔️7 chickens delivered to a single woman struggling to live and wanted to begin a chicken business
❤️MBG - helping people and changing lives

The joy and thanksgiving one of our sweet women felt when David came to deliver her supplies this month❤️
This woman has been through so much and she herself has cared for so many - as she progresses in age it’s our time to honor and bring her some help.
We love the women who ask for nothing - we see you and we will do our best to care for you always❤️
