We are so inspired by our Executive Director, Elizabeth Wells, for sharing her leadership and insights at the recent Association of Fundraising Professionals, Golden Gate Chapter (AFP Golden Gate) panel event.

Alongside other incredible Bay Area nonprofit leaders, Elizabeth tackled a vital but rarely discussed topic: how organizations can successfully pivot from a mindset of financial scarcity to intentionally navigating major, transformational gifts.

At FCE, abundance means building long-term sustainability and expanding opportunities for our students today and in the future. Thank you, to AFP Golden Gate and the wonderful panelists, for opening up the room for such a transparent and important dialogue.

FCE recently hosted our College Success Virtual Spring Mixer. We wrapped up the year with community building, reflection, and lots of good vibes. Students connected in breakout rooms, mingled with other CS students, played a fun trivia game, and even won some raffle prizes. It was really nice seeing students laugh, connect, and reflect on everything they’ve accomplished this year. So proud of all the growth, resilience, and community built throughout the school year. Wishing everyone a strong finish to the semester/quarter and a restful, fun summer ahead!
