Our mission at Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc., is to rescue huskies that are displaced, unwanted, abused, lost, abandoned or scheduled for euthanasia and provide them with a second chance at life by finding them permanent homes.

Master Wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue has a 7 year old husky named Blue out of Menifee Ca not far from our office. Here is what the owner had to say~
Hi Tim,
I am reaching out to surrender my Husky.
He is a really good boy, we call him Blue. He is a 7 year old male that is neutered and has the following vaccines:
-Rabbies
-Dap/Parvo

He is friendly with other dogs, but doesn’t know his own strength. With that being said, I don’t know how he does with kids, but I think 12 and up would be advised. He weighs 55 pounds

Reason for surrender:
We recently got ourselves out of an unsafe home where Blue was spending most of his time confined in a crate and was not receiving the care, exercise and attention a Husky needs. He is currently in a temporary placement, but unfortunately is not getting along with my sister’s dog (maltipoo), and the apartment is not a suitable one long-term environment. We are looking for a safe, loving foster or forever home where he can finally thrive. He does not do well with cats, but is pretty friendly overall and just needs to learn boundaries since he thinks he is a small dog.

URGENT PLEASE HELP🆘 Foster or Adopter🆘 needed❗️Master Wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc. wants to rescue Senior 9yr old SHERMAN #27-02261 from the SEAACA Downey shelter who miraculously made it through the weekend final call no further extensions through 9/1. If you have been on the fence about saving a life Sherman is the one trust me he reminds me of my Shadow! He is not neutered so he needs a rescue approved local foster until he can get that taken care of. We cannot pull him unless he can go to a welcoming home! Master wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc. wants to acknowledge that there are husky rescue passionate volunteers then there’s Henriette Pataki who’s in a class of her own ‼️ She’s been a long time volunteer for Free Spirit Siberian Rescue in her home state Illinois. But throughout the many many years she’s been throwing to the SHR huskies a lot of bones out here in SoCal too! She even selected us as her birthday fundraiser this month. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRIETTE🎊 I couldn’t be more happy seeing Senior 💖Nikita💖 in the contest! She’s one lucky girl❣️

Just look at how cozy and cuddled up he is! That photo could be on the cover of the 2027 calendar📆! Whenever anyone honors the passing of a family dog with another, the huskies start howling loudly in heaven✨🤎🩶 🐕

Master Wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc., was asked to find a new home for Blue and Bella🐕🐕 whose beloved owner passed away one month ago today on July 29, 2026, at 50 years young😢. Her only next of kin is her mother who is in a full time memory care facility. A pastor and his wife went to the decedent’s condominium for 2 weeks to walk them and fed them (they have non accepting Dobermans so they could not bring Blue & Bella to their home). The person who reached out to us for HELP is temporarily assuming care for Blue & Bella. After 2 weeks of living alone in their former Orange CA condominium with daily visits from the pastors they were moved from their prior home to a private boarding facility in Jurupa Valley (4 miles from the Van Buren Riverside County Animal Shelter). She knows their best chances of survival are working with us instead of moving them to that shelter. At this very minute they are getting groomed. Liz is getting ready to go over there to meet them this afternoon at a private residence for an assessment and photo session then they will go back into boarding before 5 pm closing. 👀 Due to a sudden and prolonged period of unemployment, I am unfortunately no longer able to provide Loki with the financial security, care, and active lifestyle he truly deserves. I want to ensure he is placed in an environment that can meet his breed needs.

About Loki:
 Breed: Siberian Husky
 Age/Gender: 6years/Neutered
 Temperament: friendly with people, chill energy, house-trained, basic obedience.
 Medical/Vaccines: Current on vaccines

He is a wonderful, playful dog who deserves a stable future, and I am hoping your organization might have the space or a foster home available to help him find his next chapter. I am more than willing to provide all of his current supplies (food, crate, toys) and cooperate fully with your intake process. No problem with younger kids. He loves the attention.

Master Wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue has Two 8 and 9 year old owner surrender bonded huskies out of Murrieta Ca. that we need to find a home for! Here is what the owner had to say~

Hi Tim,
Kenjr the white one was born in 2017 and Simba was born in 2018. Both were neutered at Animal Friends of the Valley in March 2019. They are both microchipped and up to date on their vaccines and rabies. I also have their vaccination and rabies records available.
Both dogs are very energetic and playful and love to be active. They know basic commands including sit, lay down, and shake. Kenjr also knows stay and leave it until given the break command. They are both good with children and currently live around my two children, who are 1 and 3 years old. They have never bitten anyone and have never escaped.
They are mainly outdoor dogs, but when they come inside, they do not have accidents. They do have a hard time being separated from each other, even for things such as grooming, so I would prefer for them to stay together if possible.

They have been around other dogs before, including going to dog parks, although it has been a while since they have regularly interacted with other dogs. They have never been around cats, so I’m unsure how they would do with cats.

The reason we need to rehome them is because we are moving into a rental situation where we will only have two rooms and no yard. Unfortunately, we will not have the space or proper setup for them, and we want to make sure they go somewhere where they can continue to have the space and care they need.

THESE TWO WOUID BE SO MUCH FUN AND EASIER WATCHING THEM PLAY TOGETHER. OUR MISSION IS TO KEEP THEM TOGETHER AT ALL COST!

Hi Tim,
She’s great with other dogs And children, she’s very loving and listens. I had a friend that was going to take it but she backed out and now I have her. I have 2 German shepherds and this is way too much for me to handle, I already have anxiety issues and I believe she needs a good home with a family that can give her what she’s looking for whereas I cannot.
They named her Celine Dion too many syllables we renamed her Neela And she is learning and response to that name.
I have 2 German shepherds she plays with them, I’m guessing she weighs Between 35 and 40 pounds

MARU ID got PAWDOPTED. Liz pulled Maru out of the Carson shelter in April 2026. We knew we had to get him out and only had a 3 day plan for him to stay one weekend with a prior adopter. But while en route Liz got the phone call from Ann Shea and even though they had never met she knew who Anne was! She adopted famous tri-pawed Elsa and Cali. Liz’s van did a 360 to Pasadena to meet Anne and her husband Ben, and the rest was magic!
This is what Ann had to say!! “Our gorgeous gigantasaurus RuRu(Formerly Maru)-We thought we were fostering a sad case of an elderly, obese dog that the shelter vet said should be able to "convalesce in a calm home for the rest of the days he had left". It turns out he must be 3 or 4, is only fur fat ( 3” long in places) and Maru’s idea of convalescing is play hard/ nap hard and get as many treats as possible. He has made so many friends that come by to see him and play. The horses and he are very interested in each other. We didn’t realize we needed a barn dog but he sits and keeps us company while getting the hay bags ready for the horses and partakes in “carrot time” with them each day. He even caught a rat. He is so sweet and smart and has a very take charge personality. It has been a gift to watch him grow and gain confidence and let his guard down. He clearly wasn’t used to having lots of love. He loves the water so much and when we are in the pool, he either wants to be on the Baja reef or laying at the edge keeping us company. We got him a cute life jacket with a shark fin. He is of course a “great white”. We cant imagine life without him and this was always going to be a foster fail but now it is official. Thank you Tim and Elizabeth for saving this amazing life on his last day! He is a very special boy that deserved to live and be adored. We will make sure the rest of his life is the best a dog could have.”
