Our mission at Shadow Husky Rescue, Inc., is to rescue huskies that are displaced, unwanted, abused, lost, abandoned or scheduled for euthanasia and provide them with a second chance at life by finding them permanent homes.

SKYE we rescued out of the SEAACA shelter on 6/26/2026 has completed her TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) on both legs for her cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tears. We appreciate very much ALL of the donations prayers and love sent her way!! Skye had to keep her staples in a while longer after her 2nd surgery but just got them out and is feeling GREAT! She has also been eating nutritious meals, getting TLC, making friends and plumped up (in a very good way) no more skin and bones. She is almost ready for pawdoption. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

🩷🐾Yesterday Mary Jane was brought to the Shadow Husky Rescue administrative office by her prior owner and then Liz scooped her up and took her to her new fosters' home in Montebello with Lori and Tony!!! Mary Jane was previously adopted through SHR back in April 2025 at 4 months old. No need to ask how she's doing JUST LOOK AT THE PHOTO AND HER EYES WILL TELL YOU ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW. She's getting load and loads of attention just what she needs to feel loved needed wanted and the center of attention. Stay tuned!!!!!! Love you Mary Jane

Blind Moonflower had her complete bloodwork and heartworm done at West Coast Animal Hospital (THAT'S JORGE Moonflower liked him a lot) after her complete abdominal ultrasound done one week prior. Her liver values are all normal now!! She's doing great since arriving at the Shadow Husky Rescue Sanctuary on 10/4/2026 doing zoomies at home enjoying her own bed with clean sheets daily, fresh water, homemade food and friends (old and new). She is a lot of work and one of the reasons why we have been almost silent for that past 10 days. Working with a blind girl in a pack is extremely time consuming but worth it. She's as precious as can be and loves her leash walks on the property. We are waiting on confirmation of a spay date with the 's Community Veterinary Program hopefully before the end of the month!!

Master Wolf with Shadow Husky Rescue has a Beautiful Senior 9 to 10 years old female named Maya that needs our help out of Temecula Ca.! Here is what the owner had to say~

“Hello, I am reaching out because I need to surrender by husky. Her name is Maya. She’s about 9-10 years old. She is spayed. I have her paperwork.
It hard to say this but I need to give her up due to my living situation. I separated from my ex about 2 years ago and She’s not adjusting well without him. He won’t take her.
I work 40 hours a week and I can’t spend much time with her which is causing her major depression and outbursts. She needs someone to look after her. She’s not used to small children but she’s great with small dogs
Temperament- she’s loves people but isn’t too sure about small children. Does better with teenagers. Is very good motives. She doesn’t do loud noises. She hides. She loves her create. Loves to be close by you. Loves to look out the window or sunbathe. Can go for 1- 1 1/2 mile run or walk.
Has a little separation anxiety like most huskies.”
