Horrible Parade Update!!

The parade will be taking place on Sunday Aug 2 at 6pm. The route will start at the Grant ball field off Millville Rd. The parade will come up to the Main fields then over to the basketball courts where the parade will end and prizes awarded!

Welcome aboard Greg!

Greg has been assigned to Group 2 and will spend the next few weeks acclimating himself to a full time position here in Mendon.

Greg began his fire service career as a call firefighter in Mendon before serving for more than a year as a career firefighter with the Oxford Fire Department. He brings valuable experience, dedication, and a strong commitment to serving the community.

Brian brings more than six years of firefighting experience, the last 3.5 as a career firefighter in Webster. He has also proudly served as an on call member of the Mendon Fire Department since 2022. His dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving our community have already made a positive impact, and we are excited to have him join our career staff.

For 250 years, that promise has depended on people willing to serve and sacrifice for others.

Those are the values IAFF members bring to work every day – including today, as they answer the call in communities across the country.

Horribles Parade Postponed!!

Due to the high heat and chance of storms tonight, we will be post postponing the Horribles Parade.

The tentative plan is to have the parade on Sunday Aug 2nd (time to be determined). This will coincide with the Mock Signing of the Declaration taking place that day.

Less than a week away from the Horribles Parade. We have great prizes from Pinz, Connected and Inspired, WooSox, Worcester Railers, Providence Bruins, Drive In, Southwick Zoo and George’s Surf and Turf.

As always, the Mendon Brothers of the Brush will be cooking hot dogs and have provided an ice cream truck!

We look forward to seeing those costumes!
