It is with heavy hearts that the Northbridge Fire Department needs to share difficult news about one of our own. Deputy Fire Chief Tony Genga, a beloved leader and brother in service, has been diagnosed with Adult T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). Tony has already begun his treatment and has a long battle ahead of him. Tony started with the Northbridge Fire Department nearly 25 years ago. Over those 25 years, Tony has cared for and protected so many people. It’s now our turn to return the favor.
Alongside him, every step of the way is his loving wife Kristy, his son Kam, and his daughter Makenzie. Their strength as a family is inspiring, and we are committed to standing alongside them throughout this journey.
We ask our community to keep Tony and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Your support means the world to us, and we know it will mean even more to the Genga family during this challenging time. In the coming days, weeks, and months, we will be raising money that will directly support Tony and his family. If you can, please help out.
