The Simpson County Historical Society are sponsoring a drama/skit Reading of the Declaration of Independence by the Pinola Learning Center at 10 am in the court room of the Courthouse. Jennifer Kalman Walker is the teacher.

The Simpson County Republican Women will be serving an American 250 birthday cake in the rotunda of the courthouse beginning at 9 am.

It's late - but I wanted to share our photos from Merry Mendenhall from Friday, December 5th. Thank you to all that came out to see the County Wide Association Children's Ministry singing in the Alice Davis Park, shopping with our businesses, and eating popcorn & drinking hot chocolate. Let's not forget photos with Santa.

Mendenhall Christmas Parade
Thursday, December 4th - 6 PM
Theme - Great American Christmas
Let's all get excited about the parade and get involved. Any businesses, church groups or individuals can participate.
So spread the word and get creative.
Deck your float out with your favorite Red, White & Blue!
Floats will be judged by the theme of the parade. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners.
