What a day! Yesterday we took time to celebrate and recognize the community that helped make Samaritan’s home, growth, and future possible.

We are deeply grateful to Community First Credit Union for walking alongside Samaritan through both the construction of our building and the successful payoff of our remaining loan balance. Their partnership has helped create a lasting foundation for accessible mental health care in our community.

We also want to thank The Boldt Company for helping us imagine what this space could become and bringing that vision to life with care, expertise, and heart. Four years later, this building continues to feel exactly like what we hoped for: welcoming, peaceful, and deeply aligned with our mission.

And to the donors, advocates, board members, staff, and community champions who have believed in Samaritan since the earliest days of our capital campaign: thank you. Your support planted seeds that continue to bear fruit for individuals and families across our community every day.

Thanks for celebrating with us Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce!

It has been a busy Mental Health Month for our Samaritan team! Over the past few weeks, we have had the privilege of witnessing something powerful: what happens when communities choose to invest in hope, healing, and opportunity.

We celebrated alongside graduates of the Starting Point program at Fox Valley Technical College, honoring women who are courageously building brighter futures for themselves and their families. Samaritan is proud to partner in supporting mental wellness along that journey.

We were also deeply honored to attend the Violet Society Luncheon, where we received support from the Walker Family Foundation for Samaritan Wellness Screen. Early mental health identification and intervention can change the trajectory of a young person’s life, and we are grateful for partners who believe in that mission.

At the Women’s Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community FoundationPower of the Purse Luncheon we celebrated the power of community and were encouraged to LOOK UP and set healthier boundaries with social media and technology.

At the Women's Fund for the Fox Valley Region Spotlight Event, we were reminded again of the incredible impact that collective generosity can have in our communities. We are especially thankful to have received funding to support new single parent support groups designed to create connection, encouragement, and practical support for parents navigating incredibly full lives.

These events were more than luncheons and ceremonies. They were reminders that when communities come together with compassion and purpose, people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

To every partner, funder, advocate, and supporter walking alongside us: thank you for helping Samaritan continue to connect mind, body, and spirit so individuals, families, organizations, and communities can thrive.

Heads up to Samaritan clients and visitors!

Due to construction on Province Terrace as new neighbors move in next door, the north side of Province Terrace is currently blocked off.

To access Samaritan, please come from the south side instead. The easiest route is to use Jennie St near the UIA Health Insurance building (by Stone Toad) to reach our road. We expect the road to be reopened next week.

Thanks for your patience while the construction crew does their thing. We're excited to get new neighbors soon!

Today is Mental Health Action Day, and our Wellness Screen team is showing off their passion for mental wellness for all in our community.

As another school year comes to a close, we are incredibly grateful for the compassion, presence, and care this team brings to students and families throughout the Fox Valley. They step into schools day after day to listen, support, encourage, and connect young people with help when they need it most.

Some days their work looks like crisis support. Some days it looks like helping a student finally feel seen. Some days it’s simply being one trusted adult who shows up consistently.

Mental health action doesn’t always happen in big, flashy moments. Often, it happens quietly in school offices, hallways, and conversations that help students know they matter.

To our Wellness Screen clinicians: thank you for the heart you bring to this work and for the difference you make in the lives of students every single day. We are proud of you. And thanks for being Seen in Green today!

Today, on Mental Health Provider Appreciation Day, we’re celebrating the incredible therapists and Wellness Screen clinicians of Samaritan.

Every day, they step into hard conversations with compassion, create safe spaces for healing, and walk alongside children, teens, adults, couples, and families through some of life’s heaviest moments. They are helping our community grow stronger roots of resilience and bear the fruits of compassion in ways that often happen quietly, one conversation at a time.

We’re also deeply grateful for the faith partners who help make this work possible by opening their doors to Samaritan satellite offices in Oshkosh (First Presbyterian Church - Oshkosh, WI), Kaukauna (Immanuel Ucc), and New London (United Methodist Church of New London. These partnerships help bring mental health care closer to the communities we serve and reflect the shared belief that no one should have to struggle alone.

To our counselors, screening clinicians, and community partners: thank you for showing up with empathy, wisdom, patience, and hope. Your work changes lives, and our community is better because of you. 💚

If a Samaritan mental health professional has impacted your life, we invite you to share a note of gratitude in the comments below.

Last night didn’t just happen. It was built… moment by moment… by an incredible group of volunteers.

Before the professional photos arrive, we couldn’t wait to share a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of the people who made Radiate Hope feel so welcoming, organized, and full of care.

From greeting guests, to running games, to jumping in wherever needed… you created the experience people felt when they walked through the door.

And to everyone who attended, thank you. On this first day of Mental Health Awareness Month, your presence was more than support for an event… it was a statement that mental health matters in our community.

We are so grateful for all of you.
