Here’s what we’re working with:

🍗 Economy packs of chicken thighs
🥔 Red potatoes & sweet potatoes
⚡ Farnam Apple Elite Electrolyte Powder (keeping ALL the babies hydrated — horses AND dogs!)
🐶 Dry dog food
🌾 Hay bale + premium pine shavings
🪨 TSC Pelletized bedding
🐱 Cat food

ALL OF THAT for roughly $250 after the Piggly Wiggly run! 😭💚

I don’t care what ANYONE says — if my babies could help me, they WOULD. 😤

AGING IS REAL, y’all. Left the house yesterday with full Gangsta Black energy, ready for WHATEVER. This morning? Barely made it to the truck. The walk to my room felt like a marathon….And get this after just sitting down😂😭

But HERE’S what got me — Charley and her son Snootie (my grandcat, Lil P 👑) were posted up guarding me while I slept. Wouldn’t even let Kingston come near me. Full security detail. No clearance, no access. 🚫

They basically said: “Leave her alone so she can rest… and so her old self can get up and feed us.” 😹

If you know me, you KNOW Charley and Lil P are THAT girl and THAT boy. Disrespect them and we’re gonna have a problem. Period. 🖤🐱

These babies are not just pets. They’re family. They’re healers. They’re my whole security team operating rent-free on my couch. 💅

All day. JUMPING. FIGHTING. CHAOS. And who started it?

Forecast calls for rain? ☔ That means my fur babies are stuck inside with me — and honestly, I’m not mad about it. Nothing says “cozy day” like one cat sprawled on the couch and the other claiming the cooling mat like she pays the mortgage. 😆🐾

Skipped the bug spray? Indoor zoo it is. 🦟🚫

Tonight we’re feeding the squad like royalty! 👑🐶 Chicken, rice & eggs served on top of their dry food — because Daddy’s angels deserve nothing but the best. Every bowl plated with love, every bite made with purpose. 💛

Pops, you might be in heaven, but I know you’re still right here with us — watching over every tail wag and every empty bowl. This one’s for you. 🕯️👼

Y’all… it’s truly amazing how female teenager cats act JUST like human teenagers. 😂

Lil’Glo — out here kickin it ALL day outside doing whatever she wants, then comes in and plants herself at the end of the couch like she owns the remote. Girl was watching TV before I even sat down. 👀📺

Big Dude — this man waits patiently ALL day… the SECOND I lay down, he finds the tiniest possible spot… AS LONG as it’s underneath me. 😭💀 Just like my sons and daughters used to do when they were little. The audacity. The comfort. The LOVE.

Some things are universal — whether you’ve got 2 legs or 4. ❤️

This is such a heartwarming mission — honoring your pops by spoiling his “Friends” is next-level love. Here’s a post that hits all the right notes:

🐾❤️ Friends of Memphis Get the VIP Treatment! ❤️🐾

In loving memory of our founder’s father, the “Friends” in Cats of Memphis & Friends never go without — and today was no exception! 🙏

Our furry four-legged friends were served up a full gourmet spread: slow-cooked beef & rice, topped with eggs, a dollop of peanut butter, and a special treat — all on top of their regular dog food. Because if you’re a Friend of Memphis, you eat like royalty. 👑🍖🥚

Our cats may be spoiled… but the Friends? They’re in a league of their own. 😄🐕

This is what it’s all about — community, compassion, and keeping a legacy alive one bowl at a time. Every meal served is a tribute to the love that started this mission.
