Organize Tennessee is recruiting and training Poll Observers for the upcoming election on November 3 - the next virtual training session is TODAY at 6 pm!

Poll Observers are credentialed by their local election administration and assigned to a polling location for Election Day(s) to monitor the election process and report voting issues.

Organize Tennessee collaborates with our Election Protection partner organizations and a team of pro bono lawyers to review and address these reports to ensure voters can make their voices heard.

MICAH’s 2nd Annual Jazz Soirée Fundraiser is coming Sunday, November 15, from 2-5 pm at Avon Acres - and this year, we’re celebrating the power of Rhythm & Resistance.

Rhythm & Resistance is about the connection between music, community, and the fight for justice. Rhythm brings us together, gives us joy, and creates a shared heartbeat. Resistance is what happens when we turn that collective energy into action for a more just Memphis. We celebrate the rhythm that moves us and the resistance that moves us forward. 🎵✊🏾

Solidarity looks like showing up for one another—and building the power to act together.

Last weekend, faith leaders, organizers, and community members from across Tennessee gathered in Memphis for the 2026 Tennessee Solidarity Summit. They came together to strengthen relationships and organizing networks—and to stand with Memphis communities calling for an end to the Memphis Safe Task Force, citing its impact on immigrant families and other residents.

The summit included several days of training, relationship-building, and organizing, culminating in a gathering at the National Civil Rights Museum.

The summit was hosted by the Tennessee Unitarian Universalist Community Action Network (TUUCAN), UU the Vote, and MICAH - Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope , with Neshoba Church serving as the gathering place.

Solidarity Summits are an initiative of UU the Vote and Side With Love. They bring faith communities, organizers, advocates, and community partners together to deepen relationships and build the skills and networks needed for collective action.

Tennessee voters will be asked to weigh in on three proposed amendments to our state Constitution this November - and these questions could make lasting changes to Tennessee law.

Before heading to the polls, make sure you understand what’s on the ballot and what you’re being asked to decide.

🗳️ TODAY is National Voter Registration Day, and we’re celebrating by building power through the vote! ✊🏾

📍 Join us from 6-8 PM at the National Civil Rights Museum for Democracy Day in Action, as we team up with the Museum and community partners to build momentum and get ready to show up at the polls this November.

🙋🏾‍♀️ Democracy Day in Action is more than an informational event. It is an opportunity for community members to learn, connect, and take action.

🌳 Held in Founders Park, the event will create an accessible and welcoming environment where residents can:
🗳️ Connect with civic organizations
📚 Better understand the voting process
📋 Access helpful information and resources
🤝 Participate in hands-on activities that prepare them for the November 3 general election

🚨 Today is just the beginning. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be working across Memphis to reach more voters, strengthen our collective voice, and make 2026 a record year for turnout. Come help us kick it off!
