Please join us in welcoming Jessie Sidle as the new Germantown Animal Shelter Manager.
Sidle brings nearly 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and animal care, including leadership roles in shelter operations and extensive rescue work across the Mid-South. Her background includes time at Memphis Animal Services, where she served as Customer Care Supervisor, as well as years of hands-on involvement with rescue organizations and foster programs.
“I welcomed the opportunity to return to my roots and lead the Germantown Animal Shelter,” Sidle said. “I believe animal welfare is a collaborative effort, and I am eager to use my experience and partnerships to support the animal community here in Germantown.”
Sidle said she hopes residents see the shelter as a trusted community resource for adoption, lost pets and guidance on animal care.
“Whether you are looking to adopt, searching for a lost pet, or new to the area and in need of veterinary recommendations, I am here to help,” she said. “My goal is to serve our citizens with a welcoming approach and ensure they have a team they can trust whenever they need assistance.”
For Sidle, the most meaningful part of the work is advocating for animals who need care and patience.
“I find the greatest fulfillment in being a voice for the animals, especially those who are scared or shut down and simply need time and kindness to heal,” she said.
