What a beautiful reminder of the many years of lives touched by Birthright of Memphis. 💜

Today, Gabby is representing Birthright at the Shelby County Health Department’s World Breastfeeding Month Mother’s Tea. While there, she met a woman attending with her mother—and learned that her mother was a Birthright of Memphis client 32 years ago.

Moments like this remind us that the support offered to one woman during her pregnancy can become part of a family’s story for generations.

For more than five decades, Birthright of Memphis has had the privilege of walking alongside women and families in our city—offering support, encouragement, resources, and a place to know they are never alone.

What a blessing to still be here, serving Memphis all these years later. And what a gift to see a small glimpse of the lasting impact of this mission. 💜

When we recently shared that our Baby Bundle supplies were extremely low, you answered the call! 💜

We are so grateful for the many donations that have arrived to help us continue filling bundles for local moms and babies. Your generosity made a real and immediate difference!

Shirley, our faithful Boutique volunteer of more than 20 years, is holding a sign with the three items we need most right now. Thank you for helping us restock our shelves and send each family home with a bundle filled with practical essentials—and love!

A special delivery - and an even more special hug. 💜

Before leaving for basic training with the Air National Guard, Broc Littleton and his mom, Liz, went shopping for Birthright and delivered their donations to Broc’s godmother, Volunteer Pregnancy Consultant Noreen Sdoia.

Noreen has known Broc since he was just nine weeks old, when she cared for him while Liz fulfilled her own Air Force duties. What a beautiful full-circle moment to see him preparing to serve our country while also taking time to serve local moms and babies.

Thank you, Broc and Liz, for your generosity—and Broc, we wish you all the best as you begin this new chapter! 🇺🇸

Our beloved Volunteer Pregnancy Consultant, Janice Lewin, is hard at work preparing to teach Baby Basics - and we are all so excited to welcome moms and dads to our August Baby Steps Classes next week!

Thanks to our loving donors, these classes are offered completely free, giving expectant parents practical knowledge, encouragement, and support as they prepare for their babies. We are grateful for every volunteer and donor who makes this possible! 💜

We are pleased to welcome Jim Sdoia back to the Birthright of Memphis Board of Directors! Jim and his wife, Noreen, have been married for 55 years and are the proud parents of four children and grandparents of seven. Noreen faithfully serves Birthright of Memphis as a volunteer Pregnancy Consultant. Before moving to Memphis in 1997, Jim and Noreen were active with Birthright in Little Rock, where Noreen volunteered with clients and Jim served as Board Treasurer.

After coming to Memphis to serve as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Inventory Locator Service, Jim became a dedicated supporter and fundraiser for Birthright of Memphis—especially during the telethon years—and previously served on our board. He has also held numerous leadership positions with the Knights of Columbus and currently serves as a Fourth Degree District Marshal for West Tennessee. Jim is a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, fiercely patriotic, and enjoys golf, LSU, and being a dog dad.

We are grateful for Jim’s many years of service and delighted that he has chosen to re-engage with our mission. We look forward to the experience, commitment, and heart he will bring to the board!

Right now, our baby bundle shelves are almost empty, and we provide approximately 50 baby bundles every month to parents preparing to welcome their little ones.
