Tennessee Craft was founded in 1965 as a statewide, independent, nonprofit organization to encourage, develop and promote fine crafts and fine craft artists in Tennessee. Tennessee Craft provides a newsletter, workshops and a Tennessee-wide member directory including a list of members willing to mentor in both craft and business areas. They also organize two fine craft fairs each year in Nashville
to which all Tennessee Craft - Southwest members are eligable to apply. In addition, Tennessee Craft sponsors The Best of Tennessee Crafts, a biennial, statewide competition for artists living in Tennessee. By joining Tennessee Craft, you also automatically become a member of the local chapter, Tennessee Craft - Southwest, if you live in one of the counties we serve.
