Do you remember your favorite dish that your mother, grandmother, or whoever did the cooking in your family made that you don't get anymore? I remember my mom's tuna casserole and how much I liked it with the exception of the green onions. When four of POP's members recently got together they created an upcoming event called the Throwback Potluck. Stay tuned as this idea continues to be developed and don't forget to leave us your favorite Throwback meal.

With your help we raised $1600.00! ☺️😌 of course, we are always striving to make this event better each year so your feedback is much appreciated.

Don’t let the best fish fillets in town pass you by! Come join me and support the efforts of the Memphis Center for Independent living and it’s mentoring program. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased at the door. Our fish fry begins today at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 7:00 PM. We love to have you dine in with us or carry out and share it with your family and friends. Pre-order your lunch or dinner with us and we will have you on your way. Sponsors include nothing Bundt cakes, frost bakeshop, Cosco’s, cash savers, and the generous support of friends.

It's that time of year when we look towards preparing for our annual Fish Fry fundraiser. I can't believe it's our 7th year! This event continues to grow with the support of our community and sponsorship by local businesses. So don't forget March 2, 2018 from 11:00-7:00 PM is the date to come by and pick up a plate or two of this golden fried fish, scrumptious desserts, and homemade sides.

On Saturday, December 30, 2017 members of the Peer Outreach Program and their guests will test their skill in our annual Cardshark tournament. Whether you are the queen of hearts, the ace of spades, or numero Ono in UNO it will be a day full of fun, fellowship, food, music, and a great way to end the old and ring in the new year.
