2026 Children’s Charity Spotlight ✨

Memphis Allies, an initiative launched by Youth Villages, brings together community partners, outreach teams, and national experts with one mission: to stop the next shooting and build a safer Memphis. The results speak volumes: 91% of participants have not incurred a new gun charge while in the program. Carnival Memphis is proud to stand behind this life-changing, community-led work. We're still smiling. 💙The love this community poured out for Shelby County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Sam Lilley and his family continues to move us. From every donation to every kind word, Memphis has showed up in a big way, and we're so inspired by it.

This story isn't over. We can't wait to share more soon about the impact your generosity is making and how Sam's family is being supported. Stay tuned!

THIS is what it means to Party with a Purpose. 💙 Since 1999, Carnival Memphis and our Grand Krewes have raised $6.3 million with matching funds for local children's charities.

Behind that number are real kids, real families, and real impact right here in the Mid-South. Every party, event, and celebration has always been about something bigger: giving back to the children who are the heart of our community.

Thank you to the Collierville Rotary Club for having us! It was an honor to share about the history and impact of our organization.

The Secret Order of Boll Weevils are Carnival's most mischievous bunch, but even they know that the real magic is in the joy we bring to our community – and especially to the kids.

The boll weevil was once cotton's greatest enemy, the little beetle that chewed its way through the very crop that inspired Carnival's founding in 1931. So when the Secret Order of Boll Weevils was formed in 1966, they embraced that troublemaker spirit with pride, making it their mission to bring playful mischief and mayhem to Carnival ever since.

In 2025, Liza's Light was one of Carnival Memphis’ three Children’s Charities, and we were honored to help support the incredible legacy of Liza Wellford Fletcher.

Today, the University of Memphis broke ground on the Liza Wellford Fletcher Stadium, the first purpose-built home for the university’s women’s and men’s soccer and track and field programs.

Liza was a University of Memphis soccer player, avid runner, a member of our Carnival family, beloved kindergarten teacher, and mother who dedicated her life to encouraging and inspiring young people. It is incredibly meaningful to see her legacy live on through a space that will serve generations of student-athletes.

Carnival Memphis is proud to have been part of Liza’s Light story and to continue celebrating the lasting impact of our Children’s Charities. 💙

Each Carnival Week, one of our most meaningful visits is to Seacrest Studios at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, and it's a place especially close to our hearts.

Seacrest Studios is a state-of-the-art broadcast media center right inside the hospital, where young patients get to host their own radio and TV shows, play games, interview guests, and simply feel like kids again during some of their toughest days. It's healing through creativity, joy, and a whole lot of fun.

Carnival Memphis is proud to be a founding donor of this incredible space, opened in 2023. To the patients, families, and staff at Le Bonheur: thank you for letting us be part of your world. You inspire us.
