King Met, Queen Eliza, and President Neely unveiled a record-breaking Children’s Charity Initiative (CCI) donation during our annual check presentation. We raised $700,000 with matching funds for our 2026 Children’s Charities: PURE Academy, TigerLIFE, and Memphis Allies. The new mini-grant Carnival Cares program contributed to this number, and it will help us make funding available to even more childrens charities in need. Since 1999, over $6.3 million with matching funds has been contributed to local children’s charities through this program.

This incredible achievement was made possible through the generosity of our members, Grand Krewes, sponsors, community partners, and supporters who continue to embody our mission of Partying with a Purpose. Thank you to everyone who helped make this record-breaking year possible.

What a Wednesday! Hump Day started off strong, as we met with and Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner. We’re grateful for their support of Carnival Memphis.

King Met, Queen Eliza, and President Neely unveiled a record-breaking Children’s Charity Initiative (CCI) donation during our annual check presentation. We raised $700,000 with matching funds for our 2026 Children’s Charities: , , and . The new mini-grant Carnival Cares program contributed to this number, and it will help us make funding available to even more childrens charities in need. Since 1999, over $6.3 million with matching funds has been contributed to local children’s charities through this program.

During the afternoon, we continued our celebrations and the Boll Weevils brought some extra fun to a few senior living homes around town. This is such a special week, and we’re honored to spread a little extra joy to those we visit.

The second day of Carnival Week started off strong with a visit to the ! We heard about all the great things happening in Memphis, and then made a couple stops to entertain some sweet, special children. King Met and Queen Eliza also had the great honor of joining Seacrest Studios at to read to the kids over a live broadcast shown in their rooms. Carnival is proud to have been a platinum founding donor in support of opening this incredible space in the hospital.

Following a beautiful outing at The Grand Krewe of Sphinx Queen’s Luncheon, the Boll Weevils and a few members of the Royal Court joined us at senior living homes to spread joy to their residents. 👑✨

Carnival Week 2026 kicked off with some special stops to start the week! King Met, Queen Eliza, and President Neely stopped by several senior living facilities to brighten the residents’ day, and the Boll Weevils brought plenty of mischievous spirit. Plus, we brought out some Carnival crowns and our best dance moves at Bodine School and Knowledge Quest!

A special thank you to members of our Royal Court for completing Princess Service Projects today, as well as to the Junior League of Memphis for inviting us to their luncheon this afternoon.

The Princess Ball is a cherished Carnival tradition, bringing members and special guests together to honor the Royal Court. It was a memorable evening as we celebrated alongside King Met, Queen Eliza, and President Neely while carrying forward the mission and spirit that make Carnival Memphis so special. ✨👑
