And if you’re wondering what “Primitive” Baptists are, we’re “Primitive” in the sense that we base our be

liefs and worship style solely on the written word of God, the Bible. The name originated in the 1830s, when Baptists split over whether Jesus died for all people or only for those people he has loved since before the world began (Eph. 1:4). We believe there Bible reached the latter, that God gives salvation to his people, through faith, and that not of ourselves (Eph. 2:8).
