Our Programs
STS Enterprise has two main programs that allow them to impact youth and college students all over:

Mentoring Program Outlook - The STS Mentoring Program is designed to empower underserved men and women to be leaders and to help them obtain post-secondary opportunities. STS Elite Outlook: – This program is designed and geared towards developing, preparing, and empowering college students to be competitive and successful in the workforce. Our Services
STS Enterprise has two services that allow them to impact youth and college students all over:

STS Speaks Outlook: – This program is designed is to empower the lives of youth and college students through stories, workshops, and lectures. STS Serves Outlook: – This program is designed creates volunteer opportunities for youth and college students to give back to the Memphis Community.

WELCOME BACK, PIMS!
We hope everyone had a relaxing and refreshing fall break! Now it’s time to get back focused, finish the semester strong, and continue working toward the goals we’ve set for ourselves.
We are incredibly proud of our PIMs for making it to the halfway point of the semester! College isn’t always easy, but your dedication, growth, and determination continue to inspire us. Remember, the work you put in today helps prepare you for the future you want tomorrow.
We can’t wait to see everyone at our next STS Enterprise session next Monday! Let’s come back recharged, refocused, and ready to keep setting the standard.

October 8th we’re launching our Breakfast with a Professional in partnership with Freedom Prep Academy as part of our Career Connected Learning initiative!

First up: Mikail Sharkey, Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP-C, sharing her career journey, experiences, and real-world insights with students.

This is just the beginning. We’ll be welcoming professionals from multiple industries throughout the year.

This week, we focused on something every student will need beyond the classroom: the ability to communicate with confidence. Our students practiced eye contact, professional conversations, introductions, and sharing their goals. We’re creating safe spaces to practice now so they’re prepared when opportunity arrives.

If you weren’t in the room this week, our STS Elite Professionals in the Making (PIMS) were putting preparation into practice. We challenged them to introduce themselves, speak with confidence, receive feedback, and try again. This is how we prepare students to become Day One Ready.

As part of Give 8/28 and Black Philanthropy Month, we are excited to announce that STS Enterprise has received a new multi-year grant from the Thomas W. Briggs Foundation.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Donna Nash, Executive Director, for their trust in STS Enterprise and their investment in our mission.

This support strengthens our ability to prepare Memphis youth to be Day One Ready: ready to lead, ready to work, and ready to thrive.

Through leadership development, career exploration, workforce preparation, meaningful relationships, and real-world experiences, STS helps young people develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to succeed.
