We are so excited to kick off our Shared Stories, Strong Starts program thanks to the generous support of the St. Mary’s Community Fund Grant!

Each child received their first special book and craft kit to take home, complete with their families, and bring back so we can celebrate their creativity together. Through this program, we hope to spark a lifelong love of reading while continuing Hope House’s commitment to meaningful parent engagement and family connection.

We could not have imagined a better guest reader to launch this new adventure than our very own CEO, Lenox. Her love for our children and families shines through in everything she does, and it was such a special opportunity for her to send our preschoolers off with encouragement while also welcoming and supporting the children transitioning into their new classrooms.

This was the perfect way to begin a new chapter together, and we cannot wait to see where this adventure leads!

What a special day celebrating an incredible year of growth, learning, and joy at our End of the Year Celebration!

Our daycare and pre-K students proudly showed off all they’ve learned this year, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them. From first friendships to big milestones, this year has been full of moments we’ll never forget.

To our future kindergarteners: we are going to miss you so much! Watching you grow has been such a gift, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we know you are off to amazing new adventures. Kindergarten is lucky to have you!

We’re extending Summer of Hope one more week and we are so close to the finish line!

Right now, we are still $3,000 away from our goal, and we need our community’s help to make this program possible for our children and families!

There’s still time to make an impact. Summer of Hope provides free childcare and a safe, enriching space for children throughout the summer. The program gives kids a place to learn, play, grow, and simply be kids while supporting parents and caregivers who need it most.

Every donation directly helps provide meals, activities, supplies, and care for the children in our program. Help us close the gap and make this final week of Summer of Hope count!

Last day of preschool feels a little bittersweet. So many small moments have led to this big celebration.

We’ve watched these children grow, learn, and surprise us every step of the way, showing more confidence, curiosity, and resilience than we ever could have imagined.

We had an incredible Career Day at Hope House!

Our kids had such a positive and inspiring experience learning about different careers and hearing firsthand from people who are passionate about what they do. We are so grateful to everyone who took the time to come share their jobs and stories with us!

A special thank you to our amazing guests, a teacher, coach, nurse, and police officer, for helping open our kids’ eyes to all the possibilities waiting for them in the future!

The kids learned so much and left feeling excited to keep exploring the world, dreaming big, and spreading their wings!

Summer is almost here, and so is our deadline for Summer of Hope ☀️

As school lets out, many families face the growing challenge of balancing work and childcare costs. That’s why Hope House is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and completely tuition-free summer program where children can learn, grow, and have fun all summer long.

But we can’t do it without you.

We are racing toward our goal of raising $10,000 by May 22, and every gift helps ensure children in our community have access to a summer filled with opportunity, care, and support.

Hope House was honored to participate in The Clothesline Project during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

The Clothesline Project creates a space for expression, healing, and awareness through powerful visual displays that honor survivors and bring visibility to the impact of violence and victimization. Through this project, Hope House clients courageously shared their stories, experiences, and words of hope through personal quotes and messages displayed for the community to witness.

We are grateful to stand alongside survivors, advocates, and community partners in raising awareness, encouraging healing, and reminding others that every voice matters.
