Today, the Fair Housing Council of Metropolitan Memphis is proud to participate in Give 8/28, a national day of giving supporting Black-led and Black-benefiting nonprofits during Black Philanthropy Month.

Every day, FHCMM works to educate, advocate, investigate housing discrimination, and empower our community with knowledge of their fair housing rights.

Today, we’re asking you to help us continue that work.

Your gift—no matter the amount—helps us open doors, remove barriers, and create opportunities throughout Memphis and the Mid-South.

The numbers tell a story. And we’re proud of the progress. 💜🏠

From June 2024 through July 2026, the Fair Housing Council of Metropolitan Memphis has been working throughout our community to educate, advocate, build partnerships, expand access to resources, and ensure more people know and understand their fair housing rights.

Our Initial Impact Report: From Promise to Progress captures the growth, innovation, partnerships, and community-centered work behind the numbers you see here.

This is more than a snapshot of what we’ve done—it’s a look at the foundation we’re continuing to build for fair housing throughout the Memphis metropolitan area.
